Weir, Alison. “Israel and Palestine, Choosing Sides. ifamericansknew.org 2005. http://www.ifamericansknew.org/media/sides.html
This website is about censored stories and the article is about the media taking Israel sides and not telling the whole truth. The author mentions many stories that have occurred that Israel has done to Palestine and little of all this was appearing in NPR reports, the New York Times, or the San Francisco Chronicle. In 2001 the author went to Palestine and seen thing that never been reported in the media like communities destroyed, children who had been shot in the stomach, in the back, in the head and so on .all these events have never been mentioned in the media and a suicide bombing had occurred and she went to a hotel in East Jerusalem and saw that the New York Times had published a front-page story about it.
She went to Palestine and saw 4 herself what is really going on. Its been 6 years since she has been there. She recommends other source for more information
Philo, Greg. Media Bias - Palestine and Israel. Double standards.org 2004. http://www.doublestandards.org/biaspale.html
This website is about how unfair the war is between Palestine and Israel and how the media makes is seem fair. The media always make it seem that the in Middle East, it is always the Arabs that attack first, and it's always Israel who defends itself. Palestine is not allowed to kill Israelis, this is called "terrorism" Israel has the right to kill palistian civilians; this is called "self-defense". he also goes in more deatail in on the weapons and money Israel has vs Palestine.
He directs his audience for people that believe there is way more to the war then the news is telling us. He was done a lot of research, he also recommend other sources
Kanazi, Remi. Covering Israel/Palestine US Media Bias. Znet.org march 23, 2006 http://www.zmag.org/content/showarticle.cfm?ItemID=9976
This website talk about the death toll rate and how much of it could be true Since the uprising in September of 2000, more than 3800 Palestinians have been killed in the Occupied Territories as a result of the conflict. Most Americans are unaware of the toll because it is not properly reported. In 2004, If Americans Knew—an American organization that exposes and examines the facts of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict reported that 808 Palestinian conflict deaths occurred while 107 Israelis conflict deaths occurred. The study, however, found that The New York Times covered Israeli deaths in the headline or the first paragraph in 159 articles—meaning in some cases they covered the same death numerous times. In contrast, The New York Times only covered about 40 percent of Palestinian deaths—334 of 808—in the headline or in the first paragraph of the articles. Nearly eight Palestinians died for every one Israeli.
He from the middle east his reach is recent and continuing with it. He does notmention anything about the Iraq war.
Un.org. questions on Palestine http://www.un.org/depts/dpa/ngo/history.html
Palestinians have a real grievance their homeland for over a thousand years was taken, without their consent and mostly by force, during the creation of the state of Israel. During the years of the Palestine Mandate, from 1922 to 1947, large-scale Jewish immigration from abroad, mainly from Eastern Europe took place, the numbers swelling in the 1930s with the notorious Nazi persecution of Jewish populations. Palestinian demands for independence and resistance to Jewish immigration led to a rebellion in 1937, followed by continuing terrorism and violence from both sides during and immediately after World War II. Great Britain tried to implement various formulas to bring independence to a land ravaged by violence. In 1947, Great Britain in frustration turned the problem over to the United Nations. The united nations split Palestine in two parts.
His audience is for people wanting to find the start of the issue. He has research the topicfor a long time
Makdisi, Saree. Why Does The Times Recognize Israel's 'Right to Exist'? 2007, March 11, http://www.commondreams.org/views07/0311-26.htm
This author talks about the article in the New York times that stated that Palestine needs to recognize Israel’s right to exist. Then he states are the Palestinians being asked to "recognize" Israel has stubbornly refused to declare its own borders. So, territorially speaking, "Israel" is an open-ended concept. Are the Palestinians to recognize the Israel that ends at the lines proposed by the 1947 U.N. Partition Plan? Or the one that extends to the 1949 Armistice Line Or does Israel include the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which it has occupied in violation of international law for 40 years and which maps in its school textbooks show as part of "Israel"? he believe for all Israel has done to Palestine why should the Palestinians recognize an Israel that refuses to accept international law, submit to U.N. resolutions or readmit the Palestinians wrongfully expelled from their homes in 1948 and barred from returning ever since.
The other lets the readers see how stubborn Israel is and he has done the research last month on the issue but says nothing about Irqa.
Kanazi, Remi. US Media bias: Covering Israel/Palestine. 2006, March 25 http://www.populistamerica.com/us_media_bias__covering_israel_palestine
This author explains how very time a suicide bombing strikes Israel, mass coverage of the tragedy begins instantly. Whether landing on the front page of The New York Times or taking up the headline block on CNN.com, the pain Israeli people endure is shown endlessly. Israelis do suffer. Suicide bombings are horrific. Nevertheless, Palestinian pain occurs far more frequently, and yet often overlooked by the mainstream American media. when Israel kill palatines they always say there were planning suicide booming but there are no Palestinian quote, no witnesses giving an alternative perspective.
His audience all the people trying to expand there knowledge about Israel and Palestine. The aricle is recent and recommends other sources
Yaghi, Laila. The US Media Bias toward Israel. 2002. http://aljazeerah.info/Contributors/Laila%20Yaghi/The%20US%20Media%20bias%20toward%20Israel.htm
This author talk about the American news is a lye and biased. The focus on the Israelis who died is extreme and repetitive, while the focus on Palestinians killed is rarely mentioned if at all. She compares them to how the African Americans were treated in the USA a few decades ago. The blacks had barely any rights and even though they were born in the US, they still were treated as outsiders. Very time Israel kill they say they were Palestinian militants well in the Jenin invasion 500 women children and men were killed were they all Palestinian militants? She as mentions that lets even say most Palestinians had guns, how is a person with a gun supposed to fairly fight against an army with apache helicopters and tanks?
She strongly expresses her feeling on how she feels on biased media. she works with Aljazeerah this article is 5 years old and it also recommends other websites.
Levin, Kenneth. More New York Times Anti-Israel Bias.2007 March 20, FrontPageMagazine.com
This website explains how media portray suicide bombing as a terrorist attack on Israelis. Palestinians can get in there tanks and helicopter and kill Israelis the best weapon they have is a homemade bomb. Palestinians would much rather die as martyrs then murdered by Israelis. Young Palestinian has been around so much violence and tragedy they are egger to fight for there land and help there country in anyway. He explains that this is something no Americans can understand unless they see what young Palestinians see all the time, but the Americans will never see it because there source for the middle east is the New York times.
This article is very recent and explains how the same problem is happing after so many years and how young Palestinians are being affected more now then before.
Belphegor69. US Media Bias. http://belphegor69.gnn.tv/headlines/8252/US_Media_Bias_Covering_Israel_Palestine
This authors say he understands why The New York Times and CNN reports the way it does. He claim they are media hacks run by the corporate dollar. Injustice is injustice. Murder is murder. While Palestinian suffering goes on unreported children like Ragheb Al-Masri( murdered while sitting in a taxi Israel sniper shot him) remain dead and forgotten, and the American press remains biased and forgiven.
he works for US media bias, he has done lots of research on the war and the benefits US has from supporting Israel .
